Volunteer Gwynne Ross brought our Common Thread pillow project to some Middle School girls who attend Kipp Courage College Prep and Landrum Middle School. They met on a Saturday with staff members from the school and from QuinSE (QuinSEanera), a non profit program that seeks to improve the lives of young women. The girls stuffed and decorated over 70 heart-shaped pillows. The pillows will be distributed to young patients in Houston area hospitals by the Common Thread Circle.
