A grand total of 37,382 handcrafted items have been donated to Houston area hospitals since May 2008!
The circle will meet at Peggy’s home on Monday, April 2, 3:00 p.m., for a Springtime Holiday party to celebrate. Contact one of the circle leaders if you need more information.
Monday meetings at Starbucks will be on April 9, 16, 23, and 30, from 2-4 p.m.
Leora’s Knitting and Crocheting Group will meet at her home on Wednesday, April 11, 1-3 p.m.
Leslie’s Evening Group will knit or crochet at Sosa Community Center, 1414 Wirt Road at Westview, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays, April 5 and 19.
On Sunday, April 15, the Congregation Beth Israel, 5600 North Braeswood Blvd., will be stuffing heart pillows for the Common Thread Circle Hospital Project from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for Mitzvah Day (the day of good deeds).
The Common Thread Circle will meet in Room D126 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church on Tuesday, April 17, from 9:30 – noon.
The “Happy Hands” group will meet on Wednesday, April 25, at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church from 9:30 – noon.
